La Lumière. An Exhibition of Oil Paintings by Auburn Based Artist, Nona Burden.
Without light, we cannot experience the world visually. We cannot see forms or colour.
The French Impressionists were interested in conveying their experience of light, and its effect on the world around them.
Although not painted in an Impressionistic style, these works share similar concerns.
