Hahndorf's Hidden Histories

Discover large paste ups of old local photographs with contemporary twists on buildings around the enchanting village of Hahndorf as part of this outdoor street art exhibition. See if you can spot the additions! This is a free event that will make the whole family smile. Hahndorf Academy has collaborated with artist and new historian Rachel Harris from Bit Scribbly Design, who has cast her disruptive eye over Hahndorf with this exciting project on the Main Street. Black and white photographs from locals have been used to help create images of old and new as Rachel adds her magical touches with humour and stories that will engage visitors. So take a stroll in Hahndorf and look for the little splashes of history – there are eleven to find. Or call in to the Adelaide Hills Visitor Information Centre or Hahndorf Academy (co-located at 68 Main Street) for a map so you don’t miss any.
