“First Three Songs … No Flash”
(These are the basic rules for all photographers when ’shooting’ in the photo pit.)
Exhibition runs from 5th December - 27th February
Deb studied photography as part of her Fine Arts course when training to be a teacher back in the days of film. She cut her concert photography teeth shooting friends in local bands in Mt Gambier in her early 20s. After years of teaching Art, Photography and Graphic Design, she decided to leave the teaching game and follow her dream of becoming a concert photographer, combining her loves for music and photography.
This passion for music and photography has led her to concerts and music festivals all over the world, gaining media accreditation over the last five years. WOMADELAIDE the BYRON BAY BLUESFEST, SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS, GROOVIN’ THE MOO, QUEENSCLIFF MUSIC FESTIVAL and THE MELBOURNE GUITAR SHOW are her most frequented festivals. She also photographs internationally when travelling, especially in New Zealand.
Deb is an active photographer for AMNPLIFY, and is a photographer and reviewer for the US-based magazine ROCK AT NIGHT.
