A national competition, open to anyone who’s ready to tell a story. There are no real rules of what that story might be or how it’s told – that’s purely up to you. The only stipulation is that 'Tasmania' needs to sneak in somewhere. The deadline for submissions is 23 April 2021. If you are interested in submitting a film.
Prizes and awards include cash prizes in two categories – Junior: 21 years of age and under, Open: 22 years and over; plus masterclasses; shortlisted films screened on Guardian Australia website and more.
The mentors and judges are award-winning actor Marta Dusseldorp; artist Rocco Fazzari; writer and editor Leta Keens; and Leah Purcell, one of Australia’s most eminent cultural figures. Spring Bay Mill will host the Premiere Screening event on Friday 21 May 2021.
