Experiment with wheel throwing

In this hands-on session you will have plenty of support and encouragement to build your confidence on the wheel. Whether you're a total beginner or hope to refresh your skills workshop leader Steph will meet you wherever you're at with your learning! This fun session will give you the opportunity to experience working on the wheel in a cozy artists studio in Ballarat. Release some stress and take some creative time out. What you will learn: how to prepare your clay for throwing, how to operate an electric potters wheel, the fundamentals of throwing, tips to improve your technique, how to relax and go with the mindfulness of clay! Includes all clay, materials and firing of successful work to be picked up at at later date. Suitable for ages 12 and over. Each wheel throwing classes will have a maximum of three students.
