The Ballarat Beard & Stache Competition

The Ballarat Beard & Stache Competition is an annual event celebrating all forms of facial hair. There's a category for everyone (online and in person) whether it be a perfectly styled moustache or beard big enough to get caught in your pants. Hosted at the iconic Hop Temple, you'll find an array of entertainment for competitors and spectators alike including live music, craft beer and plenty of delicious food. The Ballarat Beard & Stache Competition is a highlight of the Ballarat Heritage Festival and showcases the rich history of Ballarat, its bearded pioneers and modern-day legends.
