The virtuoso flamenco guitarist Paco Lara and his recent successes at the Sydney Opera House, the Adelaide Guitar Festival and his 2022 national tour, are placing Lara’s flamenco flair at the top of the Australian music scene. The maestro himself and his amazing ensemble and guest flamenco dancer (Deya Miranda Giner) will play one concert only at Darebin Arts on September 17. Music of other styles will be included too, like the Cavatina from the film The Deer Hunter and a Waltzing Matilda - in flamenco style? Lara’s career, centred in Spain for more than 30 years, including Europe, Asia and Latin America before his family’s move to Australia in 2017. Paco has performed with some of Spain’s most prestigious international artists. This is an experience not to be missed!
