[REMOVED] From the Easel of Margaret Morgan

Art exhibition at the historic Heathcote Winery. Margaret lives in the Macedon Ranges and is passionate about protecting our local flora and fauna. Having a deep love of the area makes her paintings emotive. She paints in an impressionistic style, mainly from her own photographs. Margaret paints in a variety of mediums, mainly oil, watercolour, silk paint, pastel and acrylic. It is exciting to photograph vivid blue skies, parched landscapes, granite rocks through to the misty atmospheric haze that embraces the Cobaws regularly. The Murray and Goulburn rivers, together with the magnificent gums are a must to paint. Peter the Busker was a 'must paint' adding to the musical paintings depicting Queen and the Young Girl Playing the Cello.
