BOREALIS on the Lake

BOREALIS On the Lake is a mesmerising installation that uses lasers and hazers to recreate the effect of the Aurora Borealis. BOREALIS combines technology and art to create unique auroras over its audience. Colour, movement, density of light beams and changing weather conditions work together to give infinite variations. Created by Swiss artist Dan Acher, and set to an original soundtrack by composer Guillaume Desbois, BOREALIS transports you to a place faraway - where time slows down as eyes look up. The intent with this work is to create a space where strangers come together and connect beyond their differences – to create a sense of belonging and community. The event will take place over Lake Daylesford and run from 6:00pm-10:00pm, Thursday to Sunday between Friday 15 July to Sunday 4 September. This is a ticketed outdoor event. Food and beverage vendors will be on site with a variety of warm winter offerings throughout the season.
