Woodstock Flour are running a wholegrain and sourdough bread baking demonstration and lunch (Covid safe) at James and Co Wines on Saturday 27 November from 10:30am-1:00pm. You will be introduced to the wonderful world of baking sourdough and working with freshly milled wholegrain flours. You’ll learn a little about us and what we do, how to start and maintain a sourdough starter, how to bake a 100 per cent whole-wheat sourdough loaf of bread and how to incorporate more delicious wholegrains into your diet. Ploughman’s lunch featuring lots of local goodies and, of course, plenty of bread. And you can buy yourself a glass of James and Co Wine to wash it all down. Attendees will head home with a sourdough culture, a bag of flour and a bunch of recipes. To comply with the Victorian Government’s COVIDSafe settings, all attendees must be fully vaccinated.
