Discover a new medium and create a glass platter and set of coasters in this warm glass session. Learn about the different types of glass and the different glass materials that can be used and be guided in the basics of glass working, including cutting, breaking, and shaping with grinders whiling creating beautiful pieces that you will treasure for years. After your two hour class you can explore the regional town of Kyneton, in the heart of the wellness region of Victoria. Shop and feast on historic Pipers Street, explore the natural treasures that surround our town including the Wombat State Forest and Hanging Rock or head over to Daylesford for some relaxation and pampering. Students who have previous experience in fused glass will be able to make a different project if they wish but extra costs may be incurred for larger glass sizes or specialized materials. The Old Auction House is open seven days and all work can be collected 10 days from the date of the class. Arrangements can be made to ship work to students if required. Entry Cost All tickets $100 - Prices differ for different courses. The fusing workshop is $100 for the two hours.
