French by the Fire

They are excited to be opening for dinner for the first time in many years. A relaxed and intimate night by the open fire is planned, with a hearty French share platter menu. The dinner is a nod to their French connection as Darren and Farley Kelly started the Kellybrook journey into wine and cider making by travelling through France in the 1960’s, and eventually bought a house there in the beautiful village of Belves in the southwest. Menu: Smoked salmon canapé, free range chicken liver paté with baguette and cornichons, beef bourguignon and vegetables, cheeses and accompaniments, honey madeleines. $75 per person, includes a glass of Kellybrook sparkling by the fire. All Kellybrook wines (sparkling, chardonnay, rosé, pinot noir, shiraz and cabernet) available to accompany the meal (not included in price). Kellybrook ciders, apple brandy, beers and non alcoholic drinks also available. Tastings and take away sales of Kellybrook wines available. A pre release of their latest award-winning Chardonnay will also be on tasting and for sale on the night. Tables of eight or 10 only (adults only). Given the limited numbers, they do need each table to be at capacity and prepayment of menu price of $75 is required. Table bills for drinks will be provided on the night. Take away wine sales will also be available on the night. Vegetarian menu available.
