The Mansfield Lantern Festival celebrates the winter solstice - the longest night of the year. After a 'short pause' in 2020, the festival returns on the 19th June 2021 with neon light activations spread along the median strip, end to end. Located in the High Street of Mansfield, this is a fantastic family friendly outing for all ages. The festival begins at 5pm and continues until 9pm. Whilst the incredibly popular lantern parade will not be running this year, attendees are encouraged to create a lantern and bring it with them as they enjoy the neon lights. Organised by Walker Events in partnership with the Mansfield Shire Council, the festival has grown from small beginnings in 2015.
