The Blue Lotus Water Garden is one of Australia's most spectacular seasonal gardens open from 10 December to mid-April each year. The garden holds three floral events including our famous Lotus Flower Season which runs from 26th December - 31st March. Visitors will get to experience the world’s most extensive collection of different lotus flower varieties which produce millions of huge flowers spread over 14 acres of water gardens. Highlights include Lotus Lake and Lotus Wetlands with thousands of blooms each day, creating a virtual sea of flowers in every direction. The gardens have many other amazing natural attractions to see including the Giants of the Amazon featuring one of the world's largest waterlily species, Victoria Cruziana. The lily pads can get as big as a dinner table (1.5 metres in diameter). Other featured attractions include: Tropical World Complex and Kakadu Lagoon Monet's Lake and Bridge Walk Dragons Trail River Walk & Bird Watching Flower Fairy Garden Lotus Lake and Wetlands World of Waterlilies Walk The gardens also contain extensive picnic and barbecue facilities, alfresco cafe and garden kiosk, disabled amenities, three kilometres of walking trails and dozens of ornamental bridges, ponds, lakes, fountains and waterfalls. It's a great day out for everyone. Entry Cost Adult $22 - Any person 16 years of age or older is considered an adult. Child $0 - Child 4-15 years: $6.00 Child 0-3 years: FREE (any day) Condition: Children 0-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. Anyone aged 16 years or older is considered an adult. Concession $19.5 - Only available to: Seniors, Pensioners and Students. Condition: A Seniors Card, Pension Card or Student Card is required.
