About

The Shire of Denmark in collaboration with Movies with Meaning are screening a free movie event “Blue” in line with Plastic Free-July (and beyond!). The movie Blue is about plastic pollution and over-harvesting of our oceans, and what we can do to protect this precious environmental resource into the future. The screening will also be prefaced by a locally produced movie by Plastic Reduction Denmark and Movies with Meaning on positive action regarding reducing plastic use within our Shire.

There will be 2 x public screening sessions held on Friday 6th August: a matinee session at 5pm, as well as a night session commencing at 7pm. There is no registration required, however appropriate Covid-19 hygiene measures are to be undertaken by those attending. Please note the movie is rated PG.

The Shire and Movies with Meaning will also be holding 2 x school private screening sessions on Friday 6th August: one shorter 28 minute film intended for primary school-aged students at 11am, and one for high school-aged students at 1pm
