St Barbara's Festival

The annual Saint Barbara's Festival has become an integral part of the annual Goldfields events calendar, solidifying the great partnership that exists between the mining industry and the local community of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. The Festival recognises the ongoing socio-economic contributions the mining sector makes to the region and it is a way for the local community to come together to celebrate all that is great about living in Australia’s largest regional outback city! The event is definitely worth attending and it’s one of the most unique celebrations in Australia, so make the time to get to Kalgoorlie in December and experience this great community tribute to the mining industry. The Miners' Memorial is being held on 28 November 2019 and the St Barbara's Parade is being held on 1 December 2019. See website for a programme of events.
