Mandurah Plein Air Artists - Outdoor Painting

If you are visiting Mandurah and looking for a creative experience, why not paint with the Mandurah Plein Air Artists (Inc). This friendly group of Plein Air painters meet every Tuesday morning to paint somewhere in the great outdoors - see their Facebook page for each weeks location. All skill levels and mediums are welcome and each paint out is often followed by a social coffee and an arty chat. Plein air is a French expression which means “in the open air”. Plein air artists seek the quality of natural light and atmosphere outdoors and their work is in direct response to the beauty they find in nature. A variety of mediums are used, from oils through to watercolours and pastels. Bring your own painting materials and equipment.
