From London’s Lumiere Festival and Beijing’s Solana Light Festival also comes Janet Echelman’s stunning light installation – 1.8 – in Perth’s iconic Supreme Court Gardens. Seen for the first time in Australia, 1.8 is brought to you as a large-scale temporary installation in one of Perth’s most iconic parks. Replicating the pattern created by a significant earthquake in Japan, 1.8 is an impressive installation by day and features a custom projected light show nightly from 5.30pm. This free immersive experience is a must see.
