About

This is a glorious mid-week meander through the picturesque Town of Toodyay. Toodyay has long been hailed as a beautiful historic Town, situated in Perth's backyard. It is located 90 kilometres from the Perth central business district but the hidden gem is the AvonLink train service. The rail journey through the Avon Valley is a must-do activity for all West Australians and visitors. The peaceful clickety-clack of the train coupled with the magnificent scenery which changes with each season is absolutely magic. Once in Toodyay, this walking tour will take in some of Toodyay's historic buildings and the stories attached. After a sumptuous morning tea, you will stroll to the Newcastle Gaol Precinct then across the footbridge to the main street of town to the shopping strip. There are plenty of unique shops to pique your interest and of course, there is the world-renowned Christmas 360 Shop. Your walk ends at Connor's Mill taking in the old-world charm of Toodyay's very own steam driven flour mill. Connor's Mill is on the edge of town near the Visitor's Centre (for you to pop in and explore) and close proximity to the train station for your departure. Entry Cost All tickets $47
