Sharing cultural knowledge on weaving and plant use and learning how to prepare fibres. Come and join Ronnie Jordan a Kalkadoon Pitta Pitta woman, who will share her traditional ecological knowledge with you. Ronnie is a qualified professional weaver and artist and has delivered weaving and art workshops to government agencies, community groups, schools, events and corporations. These workshops are a hands-on experience, empowering participants with a sense of connection and the opportunity to learn an age old skill. All materials included, raffia and natural fibres. Suitable for ages 15+ years. Each workshop runs for 2.5 hours and are available at 9.30am or 1pm.
