A performance by the internationally acclaimed Australian pianist, David Helfgott OAM. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Academy Award winning, Australian film, “Shine”, which was nominated for an astonishing seven Academy Awards, The 74 year old is a national treasure, awarded an Order of Australia Medal for his service to the performing arts, following a career spanning seven decades. After Having performed at prestigious venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall this is Canberra’s chance to witness this amazing talent live in concert.
