Filmmaking Workshop - Create a Short Space Film In One Day

Learn to make a space film Want to up-skill your acting, presentation, camera, lighting, sound or editing skills? Then register for our hands-on practical workshop. This workshop is intended as a safe environment where you practice your current skills or learn new ones. There's not much theory, you'll get more out of the workshop if you know the basics of video production but not necessary. If you have no knowledge of video production start with our introductory filmmaking training videos available to SFC members. At each workshop, they'll form a group, just like an actual film production, where students take on one or more roles to create one short space sci-fi film and one short space documentary. You can be rotated between the roles so that you can get overall experience, or you can focus on one set of skills to practice; it's up to you what you want to learn. However, one important aspect of the workshop is to get you to work as a team, and this is essential in any film production.
