Traces IV Exhibition

As time passes, you leave traces of where you have been and whom you have encountered on the way. Artists and creatively adventurous individuals are invited from throughout Australia to respond to this theme: speaking to their sense of place, connections made, stories shared, the changes that have taken place and memories gathered. They are encouraging you to investigate your ideas of connection, transformation, and memory playfully, thoughtfully, radically, or somewhere in between as you explore the people, your relationships, places, adventures and the environments that you cherish. Following the success of their previous Traces exhibitions, they are delighted to rekindle Traces VI in 2022. They welcome contributions from all ages and viewpoints and in any medium. Artists working in any stage of their creative practice, be it as a professional or hobbyist, you are invited to submit work exploring this theme at A5 (21 x 14.8cm) size. This is an open exhibition and all works will be eligible for selection in the People’s Choice Award, that will be announced after the exhibition.
