Old Quarter Coffee - Barista Workshop

Welcome to the home of Daily Happy! Old Quarter is all about spreading Daily Happy from your morning ‘ahhh’ right into the heart of the communities that grow and tend Old Quarter coffee. Join their team in beautiful Ballina for a fun and hands-on espresso workshop. They'll show you how they make espresso in their café and give you the tips and tricks to creating beautiful coffee at home. Their passionate, professional baristas will lead you through an introduction to coffee extraction as well as the art of milk texturing. This workshop is designed to add value to experienced baristas as well as total novices. In this workshop you will: - Learn how to make beautiful espresso coffee - Get hands-on and make coffee - Understand espresso recipes and basic coffee extraction - Discover proper dosing, distribution and tamping techniques for consistent results - Understand how to properly steam and texture milk - Take home a complimentary bag of coffee! Each espresso workshop has a maximum of four participants, so you'll have plenty of hands-on experience making coffee, and plenty of time to ask all your espresso-related questions.
