Bathurst Gold Crown Carnival

The Bathurst Gold Crown Carnival runs for 10 days and is a mix of harness racing action (six race meetings) and social events. The social events include the Honouree Dinner, Golf Day, Gold Crown Calcutta, Ladies Night and the yearling sale. The harness racing action lures the best two and three year olds in Australia to compete. The racing is exciting and the carnival offers prize money of over AUD750,000. There are several race book competitions included over the carnival and excellent meals available at the Gold Crown Restaurant and the Steakhouse. There is always great fun for all the family.
