Little Wombat Gallery proudly presents the art of Saskia Kremer in her Exhibition The Threads Beneath. With a diverse and evolving practice Saskia's work includes drawing, painting, collage, relief sculpture and mosaic. It is her interest in the human capacity for connections – both within yourselves and with your fellow human beings – that forms the basis of Saskia’s artistic practice. Saskia believes the quality of these connections is fundamental to a joyful existence yet their essence is often complex, multilayered and loaded with meanings. Through creating a kind of visual 'pause', she explores the poetics of these intricate layers of human multiplicity. Saskia looks for the beauty in any attempts – whether successful or unsuccessful – to establish and improve those connections, embracing the authenticity intrinsic to their strength and permanence
