Northern River's best craft beer meets the tastiest local artisan food as part of the North Coast Festival of Flavour. Whoever said wine was the only thing you can pair with good food?! At Bites and Brews they're going to explore the wonderful world of matching craft beer with artisan food. You'll taste six beers from Wandana Brewing Co, including favourites from their core range and a selection of limited release seasonal brews. You'll learn how each beer is uniquely fermented to the vibrations of music and hear about the ingredients and processes that make each small-batch so incredible. Led by Table Under a Tree's foodie team, you'll also explore locally produced foods that complement or contrasts with the flavours and style of each brew. They've focused the food matches around dairy, a fantastic choice given the renown of the Northern Rivers' dairy industry, but don't think about only trying cheeses! Look out for a few surprise matches amongst the tasty treats.
