Gledswood is an authentic Australian colonial farm with many of its original buildings from the 1800s. Spend a day at Gledswood to experience an Aussie experience. Read the review written by Shayne Denford from WeekendNotes. It says it all really!
The farm day activities start at 11am when you'll meet their stockman by the drovers campsite where you will have billy tea and damper by the campfire listening to stories from their stockman.
You will then take in the history of Australian farming, see their kelpies round up the sheep and bring them in for shearing, see their stockman in action as he shears the sheep, learn about how wool is classed and try your hand at boomerang throwing. Their stockman will give you a demonstration on how to crack a whip as he tells you of his travels across this great land.
Following your day on the farm, why not drop into their cellar door for an Australian wine or boutique craft beer, or book into one of their Wine Tasting Masterclasses which are held at the cellar door. See their friendly bar staff who will book you in.
