High school students in years 9 – 12 are invited to an all-embracing Creative Careers Expo at Campbelltown Arts Centre. Following the success of the booked out 2018 event, the 2019 Creative Careers Expo is packed with inspirational artist talks, information stalls from tertiary institutions, speed meets and unique opportunities for young people interested in studying and working in the creative sector. The star-studded program includes keynote presentation from artist Deborah Kelly as well as performance from rapper and singer, Mirrah. Artist panels facilitated by C-A-C Curators will feature a diverse cross-section of artists and roles, including musician L-FRESH THE LION, multi-disciplinary storyteller Emele Ugavule, artist and writer Kuba Dorabialski, also joined by Mirrah and Deborah Kelly. Throughout the day, Campbelltown Arts Centre will host stalls from key tertiary institutions and services; Actors Centre Australia (ACA), AFTRS (Australian Film Television and Radio School), Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience (AIME), Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA), JMC Academy, Macquarie University, National Art School (NAS), National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), TAFE NSW, University of NSW – Art & Design, University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and University of Wollongong.
