Join them for one of their classic rail tours from Sydney’s magnificent Central Station along the picturesque South Coast Line to the buzzing seaside town of Kiama. Their 2020 season ground to a halt in March due to the Corona virus Pandemic, but they are please to now be able to offer a restricted Kiama Picnic Train season. Hauling the Kiama Picnic Train will be their legendary Baldwin steam locomotive, 5917 — built in the 1950's for the NSW Government Railways. They have new and exciting ticketing options available — encompassing NSW Covid-Safe regulations. There will be no buffet service on board. Passengers are advised to bring a picnic lunch and drinks. After arrival at Kiama, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the many charms of this picturesque coastal town. Take a walk up to the famous Kiama Blowhole, relax at the Surf Beach or browse the Historic Terrace Houses. If lunching in Kiama, please book beforehand to avoid disappointment.
