Kooky, wacky, weird and wonderful. Dark Science is a new freaky festival of fun that will occupy Lismore Quad for two nights after dark. Set during science week, Dark Science is a free event celebrating the intersection between provocative art, performance and the sciences - for adults! The Quad will feature a hot pink dome called the Dejavoodoo Dome to host a variety of acts, and performances and installations will also be spread throughout the Quad precinct and into the dungeons of the Northern Rivers Conservatorium. Sideshow celebrity, The Space Cowboy is Australia’s most prolific Guinness world record holder and has a created new show packed with thrilling stunts, science trickery and mental marvels especially for Dark Science called Imagination Rules the World. He currently has 55 records the most ever held by any Australian! He performs an ever - expanding list of sideshow and circus stunts. His gentleman wit and charm are an effective juxtapose to his ghoulish acts. Experience him sword swallowing, chainsaw juggling and more as he pushes the boundaries of science and possibility. Much more to see and do Slate Cafe serving drinks, mulled wine and food all night.
