About

On the Sunday morning following the Saturday Farmers’ Markets join a guided Farm Walk to appreciate everything that a working farm has to offer. From a great range of producers, two farms open their doors each month enabling visitors to explore the origins of local, seasonal produce. Depending on the season visitors may get to see olive oil production, free-range pork, locally grown vegetables, vineyards, a fig or cherry orchard or a working winery. Farm Walk participants get to meet the farmers and share their passion for what they produce. According to the season, you will be shown various stages of production. There are lots of opportunities to talk to the farmer, ask questions, and get your ‘hands dirty’. Depending on the season visitors may get the chance to pick, collect or taste the produce straight from the source. There will also be the opportunity to purchase produce directly from the farm gate. Not only does this give you a unique chance to experience a working farm, but it is also a nice way to get in touch with the seasonality of growing produce. Entry Cost All tickets $15 - General Admission AUD15 per person, plus a booking fee. Family Pass (Two Adults and Two Children ) AUD35 plus a booking fee.
