[REMOVED] Open House Newcastle

A celebration of local interior design. Keep an eye out in Newcastle’s City Centre this January, as a life-size house pops-up outdoors! Not just any house, Open House Newcastle is an immersive installation, entirely furnished with local retailer products by resident interior designers. Surrounding Australia Day, the FREE event is open to the public from Saturday, Jan 23 to Monday, Jan 25 at The Station, Newcastle. Attendees are invited to wander the home, to experience each space of the house in person. All of the wares featured in the home are available to purchase from local retailers. This event reinforces the sense of renewal that is happening in Newcastle, with our apartment boom and dynamic city skyline as the backdrop for a new dawn of design. A series of workshops are scheduled across the three days of the event and will be hosted by inspiring presenters, like Andy and Deb from popular renovation television series The Block. Chill out at 'the house' across the Australia Day long weekend, enjoying the coffee cart and gelato van on-site plus live local music sessions across lunchtimes.
