Join a facilitated tour of the latest exhibition, 'Orange 412: A History of our Local Fire Brigade', head to the activity space for some hands-on craft inspired by the exhibition, and grab a goodie bag to take home!
The exhibition - Formed in 1869 after a terrible fire gutted the Nelson Bros warehouse on Byng Street, the Orange Volunteer Fire Brigade – today known as Fire and Rescue NSW Station 412 Orange – has a long tradition of serving the community and saving lives.
A hands-on exploration of the fascinating history of the local fire brigade. This family-friendly exhibition includes kids’ dress-ups, playful storytelling, and an interactive fire truck, alongside stunning images and historical firefighting equipment.
