Hambledon Cottage, a colonial Georgian cottage built for John Macarthur in 1824, is a house museum where visitors, young and old, can experience the 19th century lifestyle. Temporary exhibitions are mounted in the Lucas Gallery in relation to aspects of Parramatta's people, places and events, as well as other topics of an historic nature. The exhibition - Tragedy and Triumph - Parramatta Female Factory women. Museum open every week Thursday to Sunday. Group tours for more than 15 persons may be arranged by appointment Entry Cost Adult $8 Child $2 Concession $6
