Hastings River Oyster Festival

Where can you get the freshest oysters direct from local growers and chat with the same local farmers about the oysters, farming and the environment? At the Inaugural Hastings River Oyster Festival ! Kangaroo Park will come alive and you can buy the freshest of oysters pulled from the river that morning, stalls boasting amazing food, wine, gin, beer and condiments and free activities for the kids (face painting, Troppo the Magic Man and the Reptile Man). There will be great music with local musician Simon Cudgeon, as well as oyster opening competitions happening on stage throughout the afternoon (winner takes home a trophy, prize and some epic bragging rights).
