A self-drive tour in the Greater Port Macquarie region over the June long weekend, 12-14 June 2021, visiting properties where farming and food production happen by working with nature, regeneratively. Most of the properties offer tours at set times so you can tailor your own program over the three days. A fantastic opportunity to explore the backroads of the beautiful Port Macquarie and Hastings hinterland, to learn about the cattle, chickens pigs and crops being farmed sustainably, visit an urban garden to see what can be produced on a small patch - our generous food producers will be opening their gates to you. Most of the properties opening are not usually open to the public, visiting these provides you with a unique experience. Whilst out and about thinking of taking in some of the region's beautiful sights, the Ellenborough waterfall is not too far from Comboyne, the 'to die for' view from North Brother in Laurieton is a must (you can duck in here on your way to Lorne).
