About the Event
Additional Information

The Elermore Vale Community Centre has free parking and includes toilets and is accessible for wheelchair users. When attending this program you will receive a booklet containing all the information provided over the weeks with additional resources to bring home with you.

Please note the start date is in the calender for the Friday as we have the most sign-ups for that day, however the program will run on the Wednesday as well if we receive enough registrations. 

About

This program is designed for parents and primary caregivers to further educate them on strategies relating to the mental health and well-being of your child. This program has a $20 registration fee and is held weekly for 10 weeks at the Elermore Vale Community Centre. Starting times are on Wednesday the 19th of July from 7 pm-8.30 pm and Friday the 21st of July from 9.30 am-11 am at the Community Centre. 

Weekly topics of this program include:

  • mental health, child development, and impacts of mental health 
  • different strategies including emotion regulation and distress tolerance
  • how to reach out to services and what services you might need
