Music by the River

There is something truly magical about live music by the water’s edge. Whether it’s the fresh open air, the still water of the river, or the ebb and flow of a musician’s melodies, they always find themselves enchanted by the sights and sounds. This is the magical spell of Music by the River featuring the Canberra Symphony Orchestra. Music by the River is proudly presented by Icon Water and Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council. This is the fifth year the Canberra Symphony Orchestra has played as part of Music by the River and the signature event attracts music lovers from across the region. Join them for some orchestral classics from Mozart, Vivaldi, Haydn, Elgar and others. Held in Queen Elizabeth II Park on the banks of the Queanbeyan River, this concert is one the whole family will enjoy. Book to sit in free allocated seating or bring your own chairs and table and set up a picnic to enjoy whilst listening to the smooth sounds of the orchestra. Entry Cost All tickets $0 - Free seating (general admission) has no allocated location, but please book to help with event planning. If you book allocated seating, you will need to bring your ticket with you on the night - either printed or electronically.
