About

After three successful years, they are bringing back the Highland Valley Forage to Kangaroo Valley in Autumn 2022 to tell the story, through food and wine, of how the Southern Highlands, Shoalhaven and Coast South of Sydney are connected. By tapping into the culinary skills of local gastronomic artisans, they can offer a 10-course degustation lunch like no other. It is a spectacular day of food, wine and nature, made even more interesting as they witness the regeneration of this bushland after the devastating fires in January. In 2020 & 2021 they worked with Kangaroo Valley's award-winning Nick Gardner at Hampden Deli, Dining and School & Simon Evans at Bangalay Dining alongside Highland Favourites, the team at Birch-Moss Vale, as well as Bare Bites Bowl, Kangaroo Valley Fudge, Bodalla Ice Cream, Centennial Wines, Wollumbi Estate, Crooked River Wines and Cupit's. 2022 will see the return of local favourites and some new producers also. This is no ordinary ten-course degustation lunch. The Forage is a degustation meal enjoyed as you stroll leisurely along on a flat, beginners walk and take in the natural beauty of Morton National Park when the spring wildflowers are in bloom. Parking at Osborne Park Showground in Kangaroo Valley with a bus ride to and from the walk is all part of the ticket price. Entry Cost All tickets $195 - 10 course degustation AUD195 per person. This includes parking, bus ride there and back which is 10-15 minutes each way, all food, wine and entertainment for the day as well as NSW Parks fees and GST.
