About

Join the closing weekend celebration of Tales of Land and Sea, and experience the gallery brought to life by electronic R&B artist Komang, performing works from her expansive EP Mythologies. Blending ethereal grooves, neo-soul and Balinese spirit, Komang farewells the current exhibitions with galleries and bar open late. Komang is Rosie Clynes, a producer and vocalist based on Kulin Country (Melbourne). Creating a vibrant R&B electronic hybrid, her influences range from trip-hop, electronica and 2000s R&B through to sindhenan (Javanese court singing), gamelan and Indonesian folk-pop. This event is part of Bundanon’s program of live events for Bundanon's current exhibition Tales of Land and Sea. Tales of Land and Sea brings together three distinct projects exploring storytelling, mythological narratives, migration and the diasporic experience. Drawing from both personal narratives and Eastern mythologies, each project highlights age-old themes of longing, displacement, cultural connection and belonging. Entry Cost All tickets $0 - $25 or $20 for members. Includes General Admission to Bundanon's Art Museum (bookings required).
