[REMOVED] Summit Shoalhaven

It’s hard to keep a great icon hidden, so the team from Elite Energy thought it was time to relaunch and revamp one of Australia’s most iconic off-road trail events, the Shoalhaven King of the Mountain. Established in 1966 by a small team of local running enthusiasts from the Nowra Athletics Club. In these early days, every runner was welcomed by freshly baked scones, jam, and cream from the local CWA ladies. In 2023, 57 years after the first KOM, they will run the third annual Summit Shoalhaven. They’ve adjusted some the original courses to enable the event to be held. The new event will begin and end at the new course held West of North Nowra (off Illaroo Road), and will incorporate a 62 kilometre, 47 kilometre, 23 kilometre and a shorter 17 kilometre event.
