Terrara House has deep historical connections to three prominent early pioneer families - the De Mestre’s, the Mackenzies and the Hyams. On this day we recognise the history and heritage of the De Mestre Family - owners of the Terrara Estate and fabled horse trainers of Archer, the first and second Melbourne Cup winner along with future winners Tim Whiffler, Chester and Calamia. Join us as we also invite you to celebrate the official opening of our new event space ‘Chesters’ and launch of our Terrara Foundation.
