Floral Decorator Workshop

Want to fill your life with flowers? Learn how to express your creativity with this floral decorating course in Sydney! It's time to follow your passion with Merchant and Green's floral decorator masterclass. This full day course is perfect for beginners and a great way to quickly learn and practice the basic techniques of floristry and explore the artistry of working with flowers. The day will be made up of a morning session 10-12pm, then you can take a lunch break at a near by cafe, second session is 1-3pm. with we will demonstrate and guide you step-by-step, so you can learn how to create your very own designs, that you will take home at the end of the class. The series will cover an introduction to the elements of floral design, flower conditioning, flowers in season, how to make a hand-tied posy in tradition and modern styles, bud vase arrangement, presentation bouquet a seasonal vase arrangement ideas. You will receive one-on-one instruction from a highly experienced floral decorator with over 20 years industry experience, a course booklet including, class outline and flowers in season guide. The course will be held in Merchant and Green's new beautiful inner Sydney dedicated workshop space and includes a visit to our nearby boutique florist store.
