Leather Tote Bag Course

Make your very own versatile Tote Bag from a selection of premium grade Italian leathers, soft Seville, Shabby Chic, distressed leather, or Military- firm, more rigid. You'll get expert guidance and throughout your workshop you'll be cutting your leather, marking out & chisel punching out all your stitching holes, setting hardware, waxing threads, making your straps, burnishing edges and finally bringing it all together by hand stitching using a traditional leather Saddle Stitch, a thread with a needle at each end. The approximate dimensions are up to 38cms wide x 35cms tall (as seen in photo), or 40cms wide x 30cms tall for a wider bag shape. You can of course make your Tote bag smaller if preferred. You'll be given a demo of the making processes, and encouraged to practice on leather off-cuts. Best of all, you'll get to keep what you make. Entry Cost All tickets $350
