The Rocks Art Trail

First Nations people have lived in The Rocks area for thousands of years and it was the site of the first European settlement in Sydney. Over all that time the area has developed a rich and fascinating creative and cultural history. Today, the area is home to a new generation of artists making history. The Rocks Art Trail is your chance to explore vibrant streets in the heart of the city, meeting the precinct’s new makers and creatives as you go. To get you out exploring this summer, we’ve commissioned local artist Squidinki to create a one-off custom map including all of The Rocks best artists, creatives and makers. Download the map or look out for QR codes in the windows of featured stores to grab it on the go. The trail features 22 retailers including Squidinki, the world famous surrealist Billich Gallery, steampunk jewellery at AHW Studio and artisan shopping at The Rocks Markets.
