About the Event
About
Charles I created a court where architecture, painting and the visual arts received unprecedented encouragement form an English king. He deliberately set out to create a rival with the great courts of Europe. This led to great rivalries within the English noble families led by the Earl of Arundel and the Duke of Buckingham. This lecture will explore this interesting period for the Arts. Supper is provided after the lecture and is included in the cost.
Entry Cost
All tickets $30 - Students (with identification) AUD15.
