Bush Dance - Morningside Hall
Have Fun and Get Fit at the Morningside Bush Dance on the fourth Saturday of every month, starting at 2pm.
Don comfy clothes and shoes and come along for an afternoon of fun and fitness dancing to the music of the talented and versatile resident live band.
Discover our Australian heritage; where Colonial dances came from originally and how they evolved to modern day Bush dancing. Enjoy the music and dances of jigs, reels, polkas, waltzes, schottisches, varsovianas and mazurkas.
Suitable for individuals, couples, groups and families.
All dances are walked through and called as necessary.
A light afternoon tea rounds off the afternoon, with time to socialize while recharging your batteries.
When: The fourth Saturday of each month
Where: Morningside School of Arts, cnr Wynnum & Thynne Rds, Morningside
Time: 2pm – 5pm, with doors opening at 1.30pm
Cost: $10 per person, children under 12, free of charge.
