About
Held in the beautiful grounds of the Stardust Drive in this year's Gospel Music Festival will bring to the community, as well as many local artists, 3 special guest artists from 3 different entertainment genres. Coming to the Burdekin for the 2026 Gospel Music Festival will be Lynton Allan, Brendon Walmsley and Victor Claye.
Brendon Walmsley is an Award-winning singer/songwriter from Toowoomba. He stands as one of Australian country music’s most respected singer-songwriters and has toured nationally with several big-name Country artists. Celebrated for his heartfelt lyrics and compelling storytelling. Brendon is a Star Maker winner and is a 3-time recipient of the CMAA Golden Guitar, also recently winning 3 awards at this year’s Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Also joining us for the 2nd time will be talented artist/story teller, Lynton Allan. Lynton gives live art and storytelling performances which combine visual art with creative storytelling, using coloured pastels and a large art board to create images at a quick pace for audiences of all ages. His performance last year was highly acclaimed and enjoyed by all.
Victor Claye will bring a different performance with Christian rap, Hip Hop and other forms of Christian music. His work is influenced by the African rhythms entrenched in his DNA and his performance is sure to delight a crowd of all ages. We are hoping his Saturday workshop and Sunday performance will be of particular interest to the youth in the district, but are quite sure his performance will be enjoyed by all.
