Australian School Championships - Basketball

The Australian School Championships provide a unique blend of elite and mass participation basketball. Open to all secondary schools in Australia, the competition provides the only opportunity for school-based teams to compete on a national stage against schools from across the country. The Participation Division caters for male and female teams in three age groups and multiple divisions with 170 teams competing in the last event held in 2019. The Championship Division sees the champion school from each state and territory battle it out for the ultimate title. The teams boast some of the best talent Australia has to offer with alumni of this competition including Ben Simmons, Patty Mills and Tessa Lavey. Participants in the 2021 event will be treated to state of the art facilities in an unparalleled location on Queensland's Gold Coast.
